Shh... be very, very quiet.Uh oh -- we should have know it would happen. Fr. Sean has insisted that we include a link to his elephant jokes page. How are an elephant and a banana just alike? How are an elephant joke and the Gospel just alike? We don't know either. But you should take a look at the jokes and then you might find out. Although why you would care is beyond us. The jokes really are funny, but don't tell Fr. Sean we said so. We have to keep him humble. |
| After you have surfed around the site a bit, would you take a few minutes to answer the questionnaire and tell us what you think? |
Cook bookTake a peek at the Celtic Catholic Cookery Cookbook and add your own recipes! We take a fairly broad view of what constitutes "Celtic" food, so be imaginative. Some of the recipes already in it are pretty good, if we do say so ourselves. Give them a try. And if you know a good recipe, something Scottish, Irish, or Welsh, maybe Breton, Cornish, or Manx, you can submit it for others to enjoy. |
Reports from the Other SideOur intrepid roving mystical reporter, Christopher White, by going through those mysterious "thin places" one reads about in books of Celtic spirituality, has discovered more than you would ever want to know about the history of the Celtic knots you find tied up all over the Book of Kells and other Celtic decorative works. Find out what the first knot-tier has to say for himself. Discover the deep spiritual significance of these arcane symbols. Read the interviews here. (And nowhere else! This is a Celtic Catholic Exclusive!) |
Test timeSo you think you know a thing or two about Celtic Christianity? Well, take this little quiz and test your knowledge If you get about 50%, you did pretty well. You can take it several times and it will be different each time. |
Puzzles!!We have a huge selction of puzzles for your enjoyment (almost three). We have word searches and quote falls and ... well, we have a word search and a quote fall. You can print them onto paper and do it that way, or you can just use a majic marker right on your computer screen. The word search puzzle is called Great Cloud of Witnesses because your job is to find the names of the saints listed. We hope you enjoy it. The quote fall is a quotation by a great Celtic saint. It answers the question, "Where can I find God?" |
